Concerning the increasingly high costs of Dental Care in Iran and through out the whole world, Shamim Kowsar Treatment Services Cooperative was established in the year 2001 with the goal of vesting health services, especially Dental Care for all people with no limitation of income and race or age throughout Iran.

Having over 2800 dentists and specialists and 860 dental clinics and 15 hospitals in Tehran and throughout Iran , Shamim Kowsar Treatment Services Cooperative is the biggest and the most organized cooperative center existing in Iran. Through contracts with 13 Ministries and 400 private and governmental sectors, Shamim Kowsar enables medical care to 4,000,000 members.

Visualizing a world wide health care for all in need, Shamim Kowsar has expanded its branches through its international offices in Tehran , Iran and in Frankfurt , Germany.

Through the cooperation of 32 hospitals which are under supervision of the University of Mainz in Germany, our international office is proud to present high quality health care in any field of medical care.

An overview about the spectrum of treatment services offered by SHK in Iran:

- Having its own tariffs and its very new dental insurance system, the members of SHK can be refunded from 50% up to 100% of their total costs of all their general and special dental treatments in SHK clinics.

- Having a network of more than 15 hospitals under contract, SHK enables its members through its specific loan and credit system and special discount on every other medical treatment besides dentistry.

- Because of the nearly unaffordable dental tariffs in most of the European countries like in Germany , SHK is offering to all abroad living Iranians a new dental caring system in its 15 SHK Dental Clinics in Germany and in its SHK VIP Clinics in Tehran . In this way every Iranian can use SHK Services in Germany and in Iran.

- In order to keep up with the international medical standards SHK provides to members in need of a medical treatment abroad a completely organized and supervised medical treatment at the 32 hospitals of the University of Mainz / Germany.
